Home is Where the Heart is: An Unofficial Guide to the Worlds of Kingdom Hearts is an in progress fan-created guidebook to the original worlds of Kingdom Hearts!We have invited writers and illustrators for each world. We have also invited musicians, podfic readers, and merch artists.This anthology will be SFW/PG-13 and feature artwork, writing, & music centered around the worlds and their cultures! Think of this project like a travel magazine, a guidebook for visits, or those classic game manuals (characters writing their own notes included)! We will be for-profit considering the polished product we'd like to produce.The worlds we will be including are:

Hi, I'm Allison or bookwormally! she/her
This is my first mod experience for a zine, but I am very glad to have a wonderful team of experienced mods supporting this project! This project is one that is very close to my heart, grown from a childhood reading video game guidebooks and I hope to bring that magic here!

Sam - Assistant Head & Discord Mod

Hi! I'm Sam, or maniacalchimera, and I'm very excited to help make this project a reality! This is my first mod experience for a zine, but I do have some experience in website and discord moderation, and I'm also incredibly grateful for support from our amazingly experienced mod team to help us make this project a success.I love Kingdom Hearts, I love mockumentaries, I love cats, and I'm hoping to combine my love of at least two of those things to create an awesome fan anthology celebrating some of the coolest parts of Kingdom Hearts.

Ari - Project Advisor & Writing Mod

Hi! I'm Ari, and I'm so excited to be helping out on this massively original project. The worlds of Kingdom Hearts are so beautifully unique, and I'm ecstatic that they're going to be getting the attention they deserve.I've previously done modding for several successful zines, and have experience ranging from shipping, to beta reading, to overall project development and running. Kye - Graphics & Layout Mod

Hi, I'm Kye! I've been in love with Kingdom Hearts since I was a kid, and its many magical, fantastical worlds, so I'm honored to be part of a project to bring them some love! You can find my mod experience here.

Kait - Art & Illustration Mod

Hey, I’m Kait! Local Xigbar enthusiast and sometimes artist- I’m super excited to help bring this wonderful project to life.My previous modding experience includes:
art/shipping mod for “From the Ashes”,
co-mod for “Moon, Shine Down”,
art mod/editor for the “Age of Fairytales” Big Bang,
and, most recently, head mod on “Case of Xigbar”. 💜

Q: Is this project nonprofit or for-profit?
A: Profit! The money remaining after all copies have been shipped will be evenly split among contributors and mods.Q: Will contributors get their own copies?
A: Of course. The guidebook will not exist without their hard work. We're planning for each contributor to receive a copy of the book and all merch as part of their compensation for helping us make the guidebook.Q: How will preorders for this project be set up?
A: We will be running a 30 day campaign through Indiegogo! Backerkit will be used at the end of the campaign for the final charge for your preorder.
